Suunto Vector - Yellow Aug 31, 2010
I purchased this watch to replace my older version of the watch that just died after 11+ years of use. I ordered yellow b/c that's what I had before. I was a little disappointed that the color wasn't the same bright yellow from the picture on the web - which was the same as my older version.

But I was pleased w/ the new face, which is definitely easier to see in bright light and sun. I also like the new and improved bezel, w/ the compass markings, my old one only had N & S, which were worn away.

I have enjoyed having the watch/mini computer for all of its information. Altimeter could stand to be more accurate. It is close, but I was hoping for someting within 100 ft and not 250 ft.. However, I do love its functionality and would buy it again.

I've only had this watch for a month, but so far it's been a solid timepiece and a good replacement for my previous athletic watch. I've used it for a recent century ride and hikes in the Rockies and Shenandoahs. The altimeter seems fairly accurate, though it works better when you set the altitude before using it (i.e., at the start of a hike or ride).

I am pretty technical, but this watch is very very difficult to use. I just wanted to check my altitude for skiing, and even when I figure it out, I have to read the manual the next time I ski
