5Love Ravensburger Puzzles  Feb 21, 2010
I own 4 Ravensburger puzzles and the pictures are gorgeous. They are a real challenge but very engaging and a lot of fun to put together.

1Worst Puzzle Ever - Not Fun at All  Jan 20, 2010
This was my first Ravensburger puzzle and I absolutely hated it. It has softclick technology which means the pieces lock together so loosely that you cannot pick up a section of the puzzle without having the whole thing break apart. This puzzle has few colors and it was not a good time. I purchased online. If I had seen it in the store I would not have bought it. The pieces are small, do not snap together snugly and are a general pain in the but. I will not buy a Ravensburger puzzle again. I am very disappointed with this puzzle.

5Stress free and beautiful  Jan 16, 2010
This puzzle is a stress free way of coming home and methodically putting together a piece of scenery that is beautiful. One reason it is stress free is that it will take you away for a few hours from whatever you may have going on in your world and make you imagine that you are in this land of where the castle is (if you have a creative imagination that allows you to do that). The pieces are highly made and sturdy. There are no ripped corners, uneven locking pieces, etc. All in all this is a great way to sit down and have a stress free way of doing something that is fun and enjoyable. Plus doing a puzzle takes you away from the TV or the computer. It keeps your mind invigorated and again it is really fun to do. Once done you can prepare it for framing or hanging it on the wall. Framing is what I am choosing to do or at least my girlfriend is choosing to do that. Ravensburger is a very good company and I have purchased other puzzles from them.

5Ravensburger Neuschwanstein Castle 1500-Piece Puzzle  Dec 16, 2009
Beautiful wonderful puzzle. I have passed it along to the rest of the family...
Parents should do puzzles with their kids and this one is great!

4Beautiful... but very difficult.  Jun 09, 2009
Unlike another puzzle I reviewed recently (XI Media Structure Series - Medieval, the pieces for this puzzle are half the size, and provide far less variation in shape-cut. This, of course, makes for a much more difficult puzzle since it's pretty easy to think a piece goes somewhere it doesn't... and getting frustrated later when you realize you've been looking for a non-existent shape to fit a hole.

The sheer size of this 1,500 piece puzzle is impressive, though, and even in the 2/3 done stage it has elicited comments by guests who cannot help seeing it spread out on my coffee table.

While the castle section in the center is relatively simple to complete, the leaves and trees surrounding it are horrifically difficult. I do not suggest this puzzle to anyone who does not have oodles of patience, and who won't mind a huge amount of table space to be consumed for at least a couple of weeks by this monster. The sheer amount of time it will probably take the average person to complete it is perhaps worth the $20 or so that it's going for right now... but once finished, I couldn't dream of ever doing it again (see: Hasbro Liquid Puzzle Saver Glue). It's that big, and requires that much stamina to complete.
